Join three Dublin bands on the rise in a night of electrifying queer rock music, March 29th at The Sound House. With every letter in LGBT present, the three bands will bring all the emo rock, lo-fi indie, punk and mosh pits your heart could desire. Get ready for an exciting look into the queer rock scene in Dublin.
Holylight is ‘dreamy music by a heavy butch’, an alt-rock outfit led by main songwriter, frontwoman, and multi-instrumentalist Alex Rosenberger. Her style is heavy yet ethereal, weaving the ebb and flow of emotion into songs which shine in their raw sincerity.
Survival Horror is a Dublin-based trans punk band, inspired by G.L.O.S.S, the Dead Kennedys and MCR, these horrors first crawled their way out of the cemetery & onto the queercore scene in early 2024.
drifting. is the lofi indie rock project of John D; It is entirely DIY. Drawing inspiration from VHS, cassette culture, nostalgia, and everyday situations. John blends hazy sonic textures with twinkly melodies – the project is all about fun guitar solos that make people dazed in the best way possible.
