Terrace Summer Session at The Sound House

Welcome to Terrace Summer Session!

Come join us at The Sound House Dublin Terrace for a soulful day into night party bound by house music.

The terrace offers the perfect spot to kick off the Irish summer and May bank holiday weekend.

Expect a wide selection of house music and beats from the get go.

To start the day off we are holding an Open Deck slot for the first two hours for ANYONE to come and mix some tracks. This is a great opportunity for new DJs or anyone with an interest in getting into to come and get some live experience behind the decks.

Next up will be a debut gig from Barry OH and Emma M. These two old time dance hall punters turned DJs represent everything that's right about house music as they team up to provide a journey through the decades.

Finshing off - Special Branch - will do what they alway do and remain unpredictable. Expect house music and beyond as the sun sets and the lights & lasers come on.

Room two we have the REGGAE TERRACE with Reggae Fever DJs Dotsy and Andy Culture, joined by Skinhead Reggae spinner, Selector Chiefrocka.

Sound House Rising

Cicada is an Irish/Italian folk-rock group fusing raw emotion and rich harmonies with driving rhythms. With Harvey McNevin and Christopher Mason guitar and vocals, Ali Carney keys and vocals, Chiara Giannini bass and vocals, and Steven Lothian drums, they mix folk tales with rock might. Influenced by the ascendancy and descent of urban existence and the calm of nature, Cicada weaves songs that touch the soul. With their first Dublin performance approaching, they're poised to leave their mark on the city's vibrant music scene.
