February 25, 2026 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Join us for the second Dublin Alt Comedy show, with two of the funniest improvised acts around.

Opening the night we have the award-winning, one-of-a-kind, John Spillane. What he’ll be doing is anyone’s guess, but we know it will be unforgettable. Between making his own film, doing three separate shows in Edinburgh Fringe last year (breaking his rib in one of them), and winning the Spirit of Wit: Moira Brady Averill Award in the Dublin Fringe, it’s not hard to see that John is the hardest working man in the business. Nobody can say he’s not willing to put his body on the line for his art, and there really is nobody out there doing it like John.

After a short interval for a little beveragino from the bar, your headliners for the night will be the all-singing, all-dancing Bum Notes crafting a whole musical (ABOUT SOMEONE IN THE AUDIENCE) entirely from scratch before your very eyes and ears. They’ve sold out shows in Dublin Fringe, The Sugar Club, and even put on Ireland’s biggest ever homegrown fully-improvised show to a sold out Royal Irish Academy of Music. There’s nothing quite like them in the country.

It’s bound to be a hoot, so get your tickets before they’re gone! The last one sold out pretty quickly.

Dublin Alt Comedy is a new night showcasing the weirdest and most wonderful alternative comedic performers in the city.
