Named “one of the most promising singer-songwriters in the country” by Hot Press, Dublin artist Tommy Cullen brings a unique voice and vulnerable lyricism to his deeply layered indie sound.
His long-awaited debut album Enjoy the Glow explores the past few years through tales of everyday drudgery, true love, UFO sightings and trips to Ikea. A deeply personal record, its 10 tracks incorporate vocal contributions from close family and friends along with an enigmatic watercolour cover by Tommy himself. The broad palette of indie sounds on display take influence from alternative/slacker music, bedroom pop pioneers and the classic ‘70s and 80s albums of his parents’ record collection.
Tommy and his AllStar Band will be blasting through these thrilling tunes in the hallowed halls of the Sound House on 26th April, and you – yes, YOU! – are invited to join in the fun. I wonder what he’ll be wearing?!

Ireland’s Brian Brody’s Rack&Ruins and Spain’s Galician giants Ruxe Ruxe join forces for a
weekend tour in 3 locations in Ireland , Starting in Dublin’s The Soundhouse on May the 2nd , then
down to Gorey Wexford for a full on jam session in Mcgoverns on the 3rd, finishing the mini tour
in Cork’s Crane Lane Saturday the 4th .
If you like your folk music with a raw and energetic heavy style then this a show not to be missed.
Brian Brody’s-Rack&Ruins are the inheritors of the great old Irish tradition of song
writing and balladry, steeped in tragedy and rebellious soul of the land, not the
anodyne, modern plastic 'pop version that gets propped up solely to entertain tourists,
this is the real deal, and a voice that is worth the entry alone.
After 27 years Ruxe Ruxe closed a successful 2023 playing big festivals and
performing the best live shows of their long career on a tour that will continue
throughout 2024.
The band is, without any doubt, a Galician rock class act, moving outside the great
powers of culture, fashion and political correctness. "Standing up to fight, Galician
rock, free and combat rock, magical realism and honesty, direct and emotional hand-
to-hand struggle", the essence of Ruxe Ruxe's DNA is present in every album they
released and every concert they performed since their beginnings in 1996.

Cultúr is the exciting new live mini-festival that captures the beautiful relationship artwork and music have with each other. The fifth edition of a new monthly series that showcases Ireland’s best aspiring bands and artists.
Cultúr (5.0) will have four electrifying performances by Tonedeaf, Binmen, Molly Vulpyne and Green Gurl. There will also be a bouncing back to back DJ set by Quinten and Jody on the terrace.
There will also be some poetry and acoustic sets on the terrace too.
