Ireland’s only tribute to Ghost.
When the band Ghost ushered in a change in management in 2018, many had thought they’d seen the last of Papa Emeritus III, seemingly dispatched by the Nameless Ghouls with a needle to the neck
“Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated” says Papa Emeirétus, now renamed to reflect his new homeland. “I needed a place to lay low, and continue to perform my rituals, and where better than the island of scholars and sinners?”
Formed in 2018 Host play the music of the band Ghost, from all eras despite Emeirétus not having too many kind words for his successor. “I can sing those songs as well as Papa 4,or as I call him, Cardinal Rat-singer!”
Recruiting his own band of Nameless Ghouls, Host had the honour of playing an intimate and exclusive after show the same night Ghost played the 3 Arena in Dublin, even performing a fan favourite, Zenith for the packed crowd, something Ghost themselves have not yet done.
Speaking of Zenith, Host themselves filmed a promo video for the song, which to date has amassed over 21,000 views, while their latest promo video filmed in January of this year can also be found on their youtube channel.
Host are the only Ghost tribute in the Emerald Isle and perform a packed 90-minute ritual of fan favourites and deep cuts. If you’re a Ghost fan you cannot afford to miss this authentic and accurate tribute!
